Why implant planning matters

Detailed planning helps choose the right implant approach for your bone, bite and replacement needs

Implant treatment depends on careful evaluation of available bone, nearby anatomical structures, gum health and the planned final teeth. At Dr Ajith's Madhav Modern Dental Speciality Clinic, in-house CBCT (Carestream 9600), OPG and RVG imaging can support diagnosis and implant planning when clinically indicated. The clinic is also equipped with a physiodispenser for implant placement and an intra-oral scanner for digital dental records.

Included services

What’s included in Dental Implants

Advanced implant options for replacing missing teeth, including immediate loading and solutions for selected challenging bone conditions. The most suitable approach is determined after clinical and radiographic assessment.

01Immediate and delayed dental implantation
Implant Replacement

Dental Implantation - Immediate & Delayed

Dental implants can replace missing teeth using an implant placed into the jaw to support the planned restoration. Depending on the condition of the extraction site, bone, gums and overall treatment plan, placement may be considered immediately or after a period of healing.

  • Timing selected according to clinical suitability
  • Planning considers bone, bite and final restoration
  • In-house CBCT assessment available when indicated
Best for: Suitable patients replacing one or more missing teeth with an implant-supported solution.
02Full mouth immediate loading implants
Full-Mouth Rehabilitation

Full Mouth Immediate Loading Implants

For carefully selected cases, a full-mouth implant approach may allow a fixed provisional restoration soon after implant placement. At the clinic, immediate-loading treatment may be planned within 72 hours of placement where implant stability, bone condition and the overall clinical situation permit.

  • Designed for selected full-mouth replacement cases
  • Early fixed provisional teeth may be possible
  • Requires careful assessment of bone and implant stability
Best for: Selected patients requiring extensive or full-mouth tooth replacement after detailed assessment.
03Basal implants for reduced bone cases
Challenging Bone Conditions

Basal Implants in No Bone Cases

Basal implant techniques may be considered in selected patients with significantly reduced conventional implant bone availability. These approaches require detailed case selection, three-dimensional assessment and specialist treatment planning.

  • Option for selected cases with limited conventional bone
  • CBCT supports three-dimensional anatomical assessment
  • Suitability is determined after detailed clinical review
Best for: Carefully selected complex cases where conventional implant placement may be limited by available bone.
04Syncrystallisation intra oral welding of implants
Advanced Stabilisation

Syncrystallisation - Intra Oral Welding of Implants

Intra-oral welding, also known as syncrystallisation, is an advanced technique used in selected implant cases to connect implant components with a rigid supporting framework. When appropriate, it can assist stabilisation as part of a carefully planned implant rehabilitation.

  • Used selectively within advanced implant protocols
  • Creates a rigid connection between planned implant components
  • Requires suitable implant position and clinical stability
Best for: Selected immediate-loading or complex implant rehabilitations where intra-oral splinting is clinically appropriate.

Common questions

Dental implant FAQs

Helpful answers about implant timing, immediate loading, reduced-bone cases and implant care.

Immediate placement means an implant is placed at or close to the time a tooth is removed when the site is suitable. Delayed placement allows the area to heal first. The choice depends on infection, bone, soft tissue, implant stability and the restorative plan.

In selected cases, an immediate-loading protocol may allow provisional fixed teeth within this timeframe. It is not suitable for everyone; adequate implant stability, bone conditions and careful treatment planning are essential.

Reduced bone does not automatically rule out implant treatment. CBCT assessment helps evaluate the available anatomy. In selected cases, basal implant techniques or other approaches may be considered after detailed clinical assessment.

It is an advanced technique used in selected implant rehabilitations to rigidly connect implant components intra-orally. Whether it is appropriate depends on implant position, stability and the overall treatment plan.

CBCT provides three-dimensional information about bone dimensions and nearby anatomical structures. When clinically indicated, it supports detailed assessment and implant planning. The clinic has in-house CBCT (Carestream 9600) for this purpose.
